City In The Park was the first of Daybrook House’s open air festivals.
CITY IN THE PARK, began in 1998 and has seen over 100,000 people frequent the festival which has put on THE SAW DOCTORS, THE COORS, ALL SAINTS, RONAN KEATING, BRYAN ADAMS, GABRIELLE & JAMES.

Hosted in 2001 the EXTREME & LONGEST DAY festival ran over 2 days and showcased the best in new alternative/punk music on the Extreme day and old alternative on the second day. Featuring artists such as LESS THAN JAKE, THE WONDER STUFF, NEW MODEL ARMY & PITCHSHIFTER.
The success of these two festivals was realised a year later with THE DISTORTION FESTIVAL.


An amalgamation of the previous years EXTREME and LONGEST DAY Festivals 2002's DISTORTION festival saw a massive year for our festivals pulling in so many international acts that 2 stages were needed. Acts such as GREEN DAY, IGGY POP, THE WILDHEARTS & IDLEWILD.
